Family and Friends Hike, Salome Jug, Arizona April 2014

Reward for right
Arrived on sight
No dollar in his hand

The gentle lad
Was simply glad
To go, watch and stand

The rink and ice
Were very nice
And all was whoop and holler

A teacher saw
And came to call
Asked, “Haven’t you a dollar?”

No, I have not
He said polite
I’m fine now, please don’t bother

No, this won’t do
Take this for you
Go rent and join the others

He on that date
Learned more than skate
Bless that angelic tutor

Yes all who feed
Those in need
Let God bless you the greater

Charlotte and her friend, Pinetop Arizona, Christmas 2016

My house goes bump in the night
Its creaks and groans are not in sight
There’s no one home but me and fright
When click occurs without a light

I trust the locks and bolts and doors
But wonder who still roams the floors
And what for me they have in store
Come with me, let's go explore

Charlotte Rose at three, Pinetop Arizona, December 2016

Those who write
Those who pray
Who ponder long
Upon a phrase
Those with wizen
Thoughts in play
Rise above
Transcend the fray
Can always find
Kind things to say
Pray heal my mind
And heart today
